Days after their lavish wedding ceremony, couple Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens are now off on a new adventure. While fans are still not over the grand wedding affair, Mr. and Mrs. Owens made a splash with another intriguing piece of news – Owens’ switch from his home team to the Green Bay Packers.
It’s been quite a week for NFL safety quarterback Jonathan Owens. On 5th May, he got married to gymnastics G.O.A.T. Simone Biles, and on 12th May, the free agent signed a new contract with Green Bay Packers. Nonetheless, as the NFL champion is now all set to leave his home team to play the brand new season with the Packers, fans are speculating that the newlyweds are now looking forward to leaving Texas to head north.
After getting back from Cabo, Biles revealed the exciting news of her husband’s switch from the home team to the Green Bay Packers through her Instagram. As Owens clinched a new career milestone, praises started flocking in. But amidst commendations, some comments are hinting that Biles and Owens are now all set to move North and will reside in Wisconsin, the home to Green Bay Packers.
While many greeted the couple for the new beginnings, others suggested Biles pack more winter wear as Wisconsin asserts rather colder weather than compared to Texas. “Get some winter gear Girl! Midwest life doesn’t mess around”, a fan wrote. More so, one of the gymnast’s acquaintances, Sam Roy, wrote, “CONGRATS TO YALL (but I’m sad)”. Biles replied to this, “cryin on the plane rn”.
Though fans are speculating that the couple has girded up to move from Houston to Wisconsin, last month, Biles was over the moon as the construction of their new haven in Houston is progressing day by day.
Biles and Owens’ future home is in progress
Way before kick-starting their wedding preparations, the couple already started preparing for their new abode in Houston. It’s been a few months now since the pair is updating their fans about the construction of their home in Texas. Likewise, last month, Biles updated her social media family with the current progress and wrote on her Instagram, “A lot of things have been out of control (weather & etc) so it’s been a slow slow process and I am so impatient. But hopefully, we will get to lay the foundation soon“.
