More to love! Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews have embraced their roles as parents after welcoming children Sterling and Bronze.
The couple started dating in high school and got engaged in August 2020. The proposal came on the heels of Mahomes’ Super Bowl LIV win, and he told 610 Radio at the time that he was “probably” more nervous about getting down on one knee than playing against the San Francisco 49ers
That same month, Mahomes celebrated his first Father’s Day. His fiancée posted an Instagram slideshow full of sweet father-daughter moments, writing, “We love you.”
The NFL star did the same in May 2021, writing to Matthews: “Happy first Mother’s Day!”
Sterling’s proud parents tied the knot in March 2022 in Hawaii, nearly two years after getting engaged. Three months later, the pair announced they were expecting baby No. 2.
The twosome gave fans a glimpse at son Bronze’s feet via Instagram in November 2022 while announcing his arrival.
“Patrick and Brittany are in pure baby bliss right now,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly the following month. “They have their families circulating in and out to help Patrick out with anything around the house. They are so happy with their growing family and love spending time with their new son.”
