The actress, 49, took to Instagram on Thursday to share a selfie displaying her IV drip as she revealed it had been a ‘tough’ time for herself.
Adding to her woes, the Underworld star revealed her beloved cat Clive was also struggling and had been admitted to the vet.
Alongside a series of snaps, the mother-of-one penned: ‘Tough week or two for both of us .Thanks to everyone who has been loving us through.
‘Prayers up for my Clive and brighter days ahead x’.
Kate did not specify either her own or her cat’s health issues but fans were quick to share their support and well wishes.
As one commented: ‘That is a really poorly executed iv’, Kate explained: ‘Ran out of veins that didn’t get infiltrated or blew .no one’s fault.’
