While they celebrate Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and his second Super Bowl ring, the family also recently lost one of its crucial pillars of support. Patrick’s grandmother Debbie passed away recently after fighting a long bout of sickness at the hospital. To honor her mother’s legacy, Randi started a GoFundMe page to create a $15,000 scholarship for educating students who need it. While it is a noble gesture by Randi to honor the life of her mother Debbie, the campaign, however, has not received the support it should from fans.
The death of Grandma Debbie has affected his mother, Randi Mahomes the most. Both Randi and her mother were very close to each other, and her mother’s death left an irreparable emptiness inside her.
