The New England Patriots will welcome the Super Bowl Champions to Gillette Stadium for a late-season, Monday night matchup in 2023.
Just in time for Christmas, quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs will visit Foxboro for a Week 15 matchup on Monday Night Football Dec. 18.
The Patriots last faced the defending champs in October 2020. The Chiefs defeated the Brian Hoyer-Jarrett Stidham led Patriots 26-10, who were without the services of then-quarterback Cam Newton, who was forced to miss the game while in COVID-19 protocol.
Mahomes and the Chiefs captured the 2022 NFL crown in a thrilling, 38-35, victory over Jalen Hurts’ Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII last February in Arizona.
Earlier on Thursday, it was confirmed that the Patriots will host the Eagles in Week 1, with legendary former quarterback Tom Brady set to be honored by the team, as well.
