The two met for the first time in London and, according to the Prince, it was love at first sight. Less than two years after that first meeting, the couple was already married and expecting a child.
Even if it was Meghan who had to change many things in her life in order to be with Harry, such as saying goodbye to her Hollywood career, the Duke also had to make some adjustments.According to a newly-resurfaced report from 2017, the California native was the main reason why the Prince started waxing his chest – a hair removal technique known to be extremely painful.
Harry had been pictured sporting a generous amount of hair on his torso but that all changed when he met the actress – and his friends were said to be in shock. A source told The Sun: “Harry’s been seen as a ‘man’s man’ all his adult life, so this has come as a shock to his close friends.
“They all think his new grooming methods are down to his desire to look his shiny best for Meghan.” They added: “His chest is now like something you’d see from guys in Baywatch – but without the tan.”
It is not the only thing Meghan appears to have demanded from Harry, though.According to a 2018 report by the Daily Express, Meghan also forced Harry to freeze out some of his old friends.Some of these friends included Kate Middleton’s pal, Astrid Hardbord, who was briefly romantically liked to Harry, and Tom Inskip.
While George Clooney was the last man standing at Harry and Meghan’s wedding party, some of the Duke’s oldest friends simply did not get an invite.A society friend told the publication: “Some of Harry’s pals were a bit surprised not to get the golden ticket to the evening party.
“There was actually another wedding that weekend that a lot of them were invited to, so they got to have fun there.”
