“She condemned me but I don’t care about her complaints”: Potapova hits back at Swiatek for Spartak jersey comments

Anastasia Potapova has never been one to care much what other people think and that includes Swiatek who is the number one player in the world. She was called out by the Polish player when she saw her with a Russian jersey. Her comments eventually forced the hand of the WTA who fined Potapova for the action.

Potapova’s reaction. Not impressed:

“Every person has the right to choose: so to go to the match in a Spartak T-shirt was my personal choice. She condemned me, but I don’t care about her complaints, neither hot nor cold. If she wants to blame me for something, then I wish her good luck. I don’t pay any attention to it.”
